How to play

Wordle is a five-letter guessing game. You have six tries. This site never replaces the board — it sits beside it.

The official idea

Each guess must be a real five-letter word. After you submit, letters are marked as correct and in place, present but elsewhere, or absent. Use those marks to reach the word of the day.

How WordHint fits

  1. Play on the official board first.
  2. If you stall, open one hint here — starting from the gentlest.
  3. Still stuck? Reveal a single letter, then go back to the game.
  4. The full answer is available when you decide the round is over.

Reset time

A new puzzle appears at midnight in America/New_York. This site uses that timezone at build time, so the homepage rolls when the project is rebuilt after the New York date changes.
