WordHint does not create accounts, set tracking cookies, or fingerprint devices. Advertisement slots on the homepage are empty placeholders with no third-party scripts.

What stays on your device

• wordhint-theme — light, dark, or system.
• wordhint-{puzzleNumber}-hints — which of the six clues you opened. Never the answer.
• wordhint-streak — ISO dates of pages you opened, plus the timezone label (America/New_York). A day counts when you visit that day's page. Streak length is consecutive calendar days in that timezone.
• wordhint-solver-board — letters, tile colors, and how many guess rows you added on the solver. Never today's answer. Cleared when you clear the board.
