Privacy

Today's Wordle Hints does not create accounts or fingerprint devices. Advertisement slots on the homepage are empty placeholders with no third-party scripts.

Analytics

When enabled in production, we load Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) to collect anonymous page views, referrers, and basic traffic metrics. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies per its policies. We do not send puzzle answers, hint progress, or solver input to analytics.

What stays on your device

• wordhint-theme — light, dark, or system.
• wordhint-{puzzleNumber}-hints — which of the six clues you opened. Never the answer.
• wordhint-streak — ISO dates of pages you opened, plus the timezone label (America/New_York). A day counts when you visit that day's page. Streak length is consecutive calendar days in that timezone.
• wordhint-solver-v2 — correct letters, misplaced (yellow) rows, and excluded letters on the solver. Never today's answer. Cleared when you clear the form. An olderwordhint-solver-board key is removed if present.
• wordhint-tz-tip-{siteToday}-{localDate} — remembers that you dismissed the timezone tip for a given Eastern "site today" vs your local calendar date pair. No puzzle answers.

You can clear all of this from your browser's site data settings.

Contact form

The Contact page builds a message in your browser. By default it opens your email app with a draft (nothing is posted to Today's Wordle Hints). If a Web3Forms access key is configured for a deploy, submissions go to that provider instead — see the project README. An optional reply address is only included in the message you send.
